Obedience to God is the key to having the life you desire and can't yet imagine.  We often put our energy into waiting for God to give us what we've asked of Him, believing that thing is great.  But if you let go and surrender you desires to Him, he will not give you less, as the enemy wants you to believe, nor will he take away what you desire because after all it is God who put the desire there.  When you yield your will, you will then be open enough for Him to show you how much more He has for you. It is so much more that what you focused on as great will now appear so small in the face of the vast riches of life that God actually has in store for you.  Don't sell yourself short.  Also, no matter how many "mistakes" you seem to have made, it's never to late to have it all in Him. All it requires is your obedience-starting today.  Obedience is compelled by faith for you do according to what you believe; Faith and works, together.  So, Let go, and let God reveal the beautiful life He planned for you since the beginning of time.
