Matthew 13 shares the parable of the sower. Seed was sown in various places and depending on where it was sown it either lived, was short-lived or died. We are the soil that God sows His word into. We can make a decision today to be the type of soil that will seek to understand His word and apply it to our lives without letting the distractions of life prevent us.
But, how does the Word come now that Christ has ascended back to the Father and is no longer in the flesh? The Word now comes through each of us, yet, in various ways. We won't all preach from a wooden or plexiglass pulpit in a church building. Most of us will not. But our lives are the messages people see and hear from us every day. When we allow the Spirit of Christ that fills us to be released through us to positively impact others, God gets the glory because His Word, the living Christ, has been revealed to others through our acts of obedience. The impact of the seed you plant in the lives of others is that they will then produce 30, 60, 100 fold.
What matters to each of us now is that we are continually planting in the right soils. We can be assured that we are planting in the right soils when we know and do what God purposed for each of us. If we are not aligned with God's call for our lives, through whatever roles He gives us to take on, we may do good but not be doing what's right. You see, the sower had good seed, but it wasn't all placed in the right spots to bring forth a harvest. You can choose to do any number of good things. But what matters to God is the increase, the harvest. If you know and do good with what God gave YOU to do, the harvest will come, God will get the glory and your soul will be satisfied. Herein lies why so many people feel as though they do "everything right". Yet, their lives remain stagnant and without joy.
We each are unique, strategically placed by God for His glory and the building of His Kingdom. We must be the part of the body He called us to be. Not the part of the body everyone expects us to be. Ask and you shall receive, Seek and you shall find, Knock and the door will be opened up to you (Matthew 7:7). God wants you to know who you are so that you can do HIS will with great joy and tremendous results for the Kingdom.
God gave me to write, Live For Results: From Purpose to Plan to Destiny, so that I could help others find and confirm their purposes and then set strategies to ensure they achieve them without distraction. Although I have an engineering degree and MBA from two prestigious schools, my energy and joy are in helping others prepare their minds to take action (I Peter 1:13). It is now most critical that we each step fully into our callings because the harvest of souls is truly ripe and ready. The chaos and madness we see around us is propelling people into hopelessness and despair. It is the Word of God shown and spoken through the lives of each believer that will pull them out of darkness into His marvelous light, His Kingdom. It may not mean quitting your job. You may actually need to get an even better job. It doesn't mean leaving all your friends. But you may need to sever some ties or even make new friends/connections. Whatever God requires, we must move NOW to do it!
If you haven't already, I highly encourage you to get Live For Results, today. (either in EBook or Hard copy). The book is filled with great spiritual wisdom and understanding including how each area of life (Faith, Health, Relationships, Career and Finances) works together and not in competition. It will help you move forward FROM wherever you are now TO wherever God is calling you to be and whatever He has called for you to do. You are greatly loved by God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He has invested great riches in you by His Spirit and through understanding Him and His will for your life, those riches of His glory can be revealed to those that need it.

Maintain Your Hope
Beware the spirits that bring hopelessness and despair for their purpose is to distract you from the love of and your destiny in God. Lift your head, open your eyes to see Christ and move forward in the hope that lies before you. Romans 15:4, 13
This is a quick post to encourage you to stay focused on what God is doing in this season. This is the time of manifestation. As you see the manifestation of so much tragedy and foolishness that is meant to bring pain, sorrow, confusion and despair, know that God is doing even greater things in the lives of those who remain focused on Him for the benefit of all in the earth. (Psalm 10:17 for comfort) So many are testifying to how their lives are finally moving forward into the things that God predestined for them. It is your time, too.
As I speak to groups about the book Live For Results, I share a special message from God called Move Now. This is it! The time to know why God placed you in this time on earth AND to live according to that purpose is upon us. His Spirit is pouring out upon the land and miracles are manifesting in order to position each one of us for destiny.
Don't be distracted by current events. Pray (and vote as President Obama said) Romans 12:12. Seek God's wisdom and walk in it. Be determined and don't shrink back. Live in our living hope. I Peter 1:3-5 Don't be overcome with evil. But overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
God truly does love you, and He watches over you.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary. But what is unseen is eternal.
I love you in the abundant love of Christ,
Eleanor

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God-Part III-The Holy Spirit
I Thessalonians 5:19 - "Do not quench the Spirit."
This very short verse Paul spoke holds such great power and insight. Yet, it has often been used with limited revelation or overlooked, altogether. Many have used it to say we should not hold back praise as we feel the fire of the Spirit in our bellies when we are in a church service. This is true. Others have used it to say do not hold back a prophetic word when you feel it in your spirit. In many cases this is correct. Yet, the timing of the release must be discerned. Still, others may feel something at various points during their day but not recognize it as the Holy Spirit. They just call it "something".
The Holy Spirit is more than a feeling and more than just something. The Holy Spirit is God. He is the person of God with us. The Holy Spirit is the one that performs the will of God the Father in the earth through all that He created. God the Father gives the command and the Holy Spirit carries it out. "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." The beginning of what? The beginning of time. Time has not always existed, eternity has. God always was and is and He will always be in the now. Therefore He says He is, "I Am that I Am." (Exodus 3:14). Time was one of the creations of God (Genesis 1:5)
John 1:1-4 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men."
As I mentioned in Part I of this series, God the Father speaks the command and the Holy Spirit is the Word that comes from Father's mouth and fulfills it. Because the Holy Spirit always fulfills the Word of the Father, no word that comes from God's mouth falls to the ground. It is always performed and fulfilled, meaning the intent or purpose of the word God speaks is carried out. Why? Because the Holy Spirit is life. The Word cannot die because it is life, itself. No darkness can understand it or remain in its presence (John 1:5). In the beginning, God breathed into man's nostrils the breath of life, not the breath of existence... You see, so many things were created by God through the Holy Spirit so that they then existed. But it is only man whose nostrils He breathed the breath of life into so that he would become a "living" being (Genesis 1:7). What is life? The Holy Spirit, as we just read in John.
When the Spirit was breathed into Adam and Eve they were in constant communion with God because God lived in them. It was from this place they received dominion over all the earth (not other men). Once they fell, the fall was their separation from the Holy Spirit. God still spoke to them, but He no longer dwelled in them. Christ came to restore the Holy Spirit back into man so that He can be reconcilled to God and retake His place of Dominion over the earth. What is the Holy Spirit dominion that He seeks? The Kingdom of our God should rule and have dominion over the Kingdom of this world. Those that belong to the Kingdom of God must be filled with God, the Holy Spirit, which is the Spirit of Christ in you. This same Spirit that created all things needs to dwell in you so that through your mouth and body He can establish God's Kingdom, His authority, over everything and circumstance in this world.
As long as you accept Christ and His Spirit in you, there is a hope that God will be glorified in the earth through you (Colossians 1:27). That hope is fulfilled when you don't quench the Holy Spirit but allow Him to move through you. When you let God move through you to speak or do whatever He commands, you are exercising your dominion and establishing the Kingdom of God over the Kingdom of this world. This is why all sins will be forgiven except the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:31-32). If you deny the Spirit, absolutely nothing can happen for you or through you. God moves through faith. Doubt or denial stops His movement. If you deny the Spirit, you are opposing the will of God for the earth. You are opposing His Kingdom and its manifestation. For your own sake, be filled with His Spirit and do His will. For the sake of God's glory and the building up of His Kingdom, let the Holy Spirit fill you and use you to execute His will in the earth. Seek God's face continually and be led by the Spirit. This is the coming of the Kingdom of God in power, authority, dominion and love. Let peace abide. Love the Lord God-Father, Christ the son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God-Part II- Spirit versus Flesh
I promised to do a five week series on the Kingdom of God. With a heart full of intent to do so, I faced hefty challenges over the last three weeks that I allowed to keep me from completing my weekly goal. However, during that time I developed a new charge to push ahead and accomplish all that God has commanded of me. This battle of the spirit versus the flesh is the topic of the second part of this series. My "absence" from this blog for the last few weeks will serve as one example that can be used to demonstrate this topic.
Man is a three part being: spirit, soul and body. Your spirit is who you truly are. God is a spirit and, with His Word, He made you to be like Him (Hebrews 11:3). Your soul includes your emotions and mental capacity to store and recall information, make decisions and direct your body. Your body gives you ability to act out and manifest in the earth realm (including the waters and skies that we see) the decisions of your soul.
What we see, our bodies or flesh, is the least part of our being. The body is a suit that houses the spirit so we can function here on earth. If you were to go into a different atmosphere (the moon for example) you would need a different suit, what we call a space suit, to function there. The same is true if you want, as a human, to live in the sea. You would need a suit with greater functionality than our current diving suits to contain your spirit in that environment. God placed us in the earth to dwell while walking in relationship with Him. Since humans are not the only beings on earth, God charged us to further subdue, have dominion over the other things (not each other) in the earth and to multiply. God rules over all, the heavens and the earth. Under His leadership and hand, we are, as mankind in our multiple varieties, to have rule over the earth. We are spirits as God is a spirit.
In part I, we spoke of how our communication with God must be done Spirit to spirit, in the eternal realm (John 4:24). Time is a convention God created for earth and all His creation. He does not live in it nor is He bound by it. Time lives in and is controlled by Him. Therefore, everything that will ever be already is.
We are reconciled back into right relationship with God through the Spirit of Jesus Christ. The physical blood that He shed for our redemption pardons the sins committed in and through our bodies so we have a right, through the righteousness of that blood sacrifice, to be reconciled. Our faith in Christ is what justifies our claim to sonship through Christ.
The enemy fights to keep us from coming into reconciliation. But once we are in that place of right relationship, having accepted who we are, children of the Most High God, the enemy fights to disengage us from our rightful place in the Kingdom. How does he do it? In the one way that he can; through our flesh. He engages in deceit, manipulation and lies to get you to forget or never come into the full knowledge of who you are in God through Christ. He attacks our minds with thoughts of the flesh including circumstances, relationship issues, financial woes, physical ailments and any other stresses that cause us to focus on what's happening in the flesh so that we forget who we are in the Spirit.
But if we stay mindful of who we are in the spirit, the realm where nothing is impossible but all things are possible, none of the enemy's tactics against us would work. Rather, we would continually unsettle and overthrow him and his demons. You see, we have no need to fear the devil. He fears us because he knows how powerful we are through Christ. He fights us with distractions to keep us from knowing it.
I encourage you to walk in the spirit not in the flesh (Galatians 5: 16-18). Remember who you are; a spirit that is a child of the true and living God with all the power, rights and privileges of sonship. As you maintain this Kingdom perspective you will be positioned to bring the Kingdom of God into existence in the earth so that it overtakes the kingdom of this world.

The Gospel of the Kingdom of God: Part 1- Access
A few weeks back, the Lord spoke to me and said, "Preach the gospel of My Kingdom". I said, "Yes, Lord". I did not want to assume or move forward in the typical traditions or modes. So, I asked Him to reveal the Kingdom to me so I would really understand what He had commanded me to do.
Yes, I've been in ministry for more than 25 years. I've evangelized, pastored and prayed. But this is a new season and time where God is calling all of us to go into a deeper level of understanding Him and His Word (Jeremiah 9:24). He is showing us His mysteries that we may make a show of Him in the earth to the defeat of the enemy (Ephesians 3:8-13). God desires to be glorified in the earth and for His Kingdom to come in the earth through each one of us.
Therefore, in this five-part series, I will share what God has revealed about His Kingdom and how we each can grab hold of it, manifest it in the earth and enforce its rules and regulations all to God's glory (Matthew 11:12-30).
Today, I will share briefly about how to access God through prayer. If you're reading this you likely are one who prays. But I want to share how we are to consciously pray so that WE know our prayers have been heard AND answered.
If you've ever received a speeding ticket in North Carolina and you don't want to pay the fine, you have an opportunity to appear before the judge and ask for a "prayer for judgment". What this does in minor cases is allows you to plead guilty but not suffer the consequences (fines, points, etc.) of a conviction. If the judge grants it, you just have to pay the court costs. Because this is a man-made system it is not perfect like God's perfect ways. Man tries to mimic God's systems but often falls short. But I will use what we do see and understand to help us understand what we do not see but has more power.
The Kingdom of God is just that. It is like a municipality, state or country that has its own laws. All who are a part of that Kingdom and those who "visit" it are subject to its rules and regulations. In Psalm 19:7-11, David tells the perfection of each facet of the Kingdom's governance: The law is perfect, the testimony is sure, the statues are right, the commandment is pure, the fear is clean and the judgments are true and righteous. In keeping them is great reward. Though we are in this world, we are not of this world but belong to this heavenly Kingdom. So, how do we live in both? The key is to let God's Kingdom prevail over the Kingdom of this world. When we do, we will see the miracles that Jesus did and do even greater. We will discuss this more in the future blogs.
Access. Prayer is communing with God: Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Each, though One, has a different role. When we pray there are specific ways to ensure your prayer is heard. Unfortunately, some scriptures have become so common to us that we recite but don't understand their true importance to our living a Kingdom life. For example, Philippians 4:6,
Be anxious for nothing. but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and Psalm 100:2-5
2. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs.
3. Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us , and we are His; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.
5. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.
These are just two of several scriptures that tell us how to access God, particularly, God the Father. Psalm 100:2 says we are to come before Him, His presence or to present ourselves to Him, with glad worship and joyful songs. Verse three affirms that we are part of His Kingdom. Verse 4 says in order to enter His court we first must come through the gate. To get through the gate we must use the "key" of thanksgiving. Once you get through the gate, you can then get into the courtroom. The key to accessing the courtroom and standing before the judge who will decide "yea" or "nay" on your petition is to give Him praise. And verse five gives us confidence that we will get the petitions we ask for because He is a good and merciful judge. This is how we access Him. But we can't do it in our flesh. We can only be done in the spirit.
Anytime we pray we have to consciously pray in the eternal realm of the Spirit of God. It must be Spirit to spirit (John 4:23-24). When you step into eternity to pray, you will see, understand and know how to pray, what to pray for and know that you have what you prayed for. It is from this place that as Jesus defends you with His blood, God the Father will answer you and you can bring your answer from eternity into the NOW here on earth. And the Spirit, the precious Holy Spirit that made all things, is obligated to perform it with the angels of the Most High enforcing it. Because of the Spirit's obligation to perform what God the Father says yes to, (catch this-everything IN HIM, is yes and amen, 2 Corinthians 1:20) the earth and everything in it is obligated to respond and reorganize itself to fulfill it. Catch next week's blog, part II-The Spirit verses the flesh. Continue to rise, bless and be blessed by our God.

Overcome and Pursue
Job 42
Here is an excerpt from Live For Results that I believe you will find useful. I welcome your comments.
The enemy is always looking for a way to get into your ear. He understands that if a bad seed is planted in soil that accepts and nurtures it, it will produce bad fruit. Since you were born, he was looking for opportunities to plant seeds of doubt. The mind is fertile ground and one seed can produce much. If you accept the first seed, he will continue to plant in you one carefully constructed, strategically planned lie after the other. With this tactic, he has deceived many to the point that they don’t believe anything really good can happen in their life, and if it does happen it won’t last. Keep in mind that our purpose in God is to believe in Him and do what He wants us to do. In return, He promises to bless us beyond what we can even imagine. Your purpose and your promises go hand-in-hand. If you don’t believe that good things could, and actually, should happen for you, they won’t. This is not because God can’t perform them. But it is because He can’t perform them through your doubt...
...Too many of us have become paralyzed,
emotionally and physically, simply through the thoughts we have accepted over
time. If God says you’re healed but you
don’t start walking in the wisdom of that healing, it will not manifest. If God says you’re delivered but you don’t
change and start living a delivered lifestyle, your deliverance won’t take
root. If God says He’s going to give you
the relationship you desire but you don’t walk in patience and prepare yourself
for the type of relationship you want, you may never get it. And, if you do get it, you won’t be
positioned to keep it. If you somehow
are able to keep it with a wrong mindset, you will regret ever wanting it
because it is hard to handle what the relationship gives you when your mind is
rooted with bad seeds.
James 2:20 proclaims that faith without
works is dead. What is dead has no life,
and if there is no life in a thing, there is no God in that thing. This is what walking in faith is all
about. Acting on what it is you say you
believe. The first and most important
part of your faith and actually the core of your faith is trust in God. Trust, first of all, that God loves you and
will love you forever without ceasing and without condition. Then trust Him to
care for your needs as you focus on His needs through you.

Pray For Results
"O God, you are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory." Psalm 63:1-2
Prayer. It is that special conversation we have with God. Our prayer conversations can be about any and everything that is on our hearts or minds. But they are those times when we can also deepen our relationship with our Father through Christ by the Holy Spirit.
God loves having prayer time with each of us. We are told to pray without ceasing, I Thessalonians 5:16-18. It can be as quick as a phone call to a friend just to check in or as long and deep as a special vacation you take with one that you love. But just as we communicate with many others throughout the day, we should stay in constant communication with our God. How do we do that and how do we have time to do that?
God made us people of choice. We can choose when to get up, whether or not to go to work, what to wear, where to go to church, etc. But with each choice there are consequences. Based on the outcomes we desire to have in life, we choose to do one thing or another. For example, most people will get up and get up in enough time to make it to work by the right time. When it comes to praying and finding time to pray, we must do the same thing; Examine the outcomes of spending time in prayer with God in order to help us make the right choice about how and when to pray.
Prayer will move and even disintegrate mountains. It will change circumstances in your favor. It will cause you to gain favor with God and the least likely of people. It will cause doors and windows of blessings to be opened for you. Prayer will stop the hands and tactics of death. Prayer will change things, advance things and manifest things. Prayer will make the difference in your life. Therefore, when should we ever NOT pray?
How do we pray for this type impact? You have to first know who God truly is and what He will and will not do. He is love. Therefore, He will never hate or despise you. He may not like some things you do, but He will always love you. You are His seed that He birthed and has known since the beginning of time. He wants to prosper you and use that prosperity to show the rest of the world how great He is so they too will follow Him. God has no desire to harm you and will not harm you. We get harmed when we step outside of Him to follow the world. Yet, He forgives, again and again if we repent for disobeying His instructions.
Then you need to know who you are to Him. You are His beloved child. whether you do right or wrong, you belong to Him and have been reconnected to Him through Christ once you chose Him over the world. You are His heir and have access to everything He has: His power, authority and life. It is from this place of confidence, or faith, that you must pray in order to have results.
Be sensitive to His presence. He's always right there with you. You can pray while walking down the street or even at your desk. It doesn't have to be loud or even heard by anyone but Him and you. Just stay in constant communication. Ask Him what you should do with your circumstances and how to fight any battles you face. He will direct you. Start each day by asking Him what He wants out of that day and how He wants you to do things. He will guide you. As you do these things, you will start to see things change, first inside you and then around you.
When you consider whether or even when to pray, consider the results you want in each area of your life; the areas of faith, health, relationships, career and finances. Ultimately, we each want peace in each area of our lives and that peace looks a bit different for each of us. The Bible says God will keep in perfect peace, he whose mind is stayed on Him, because He trusts in Him. (Isaiah 26:3) Speak to God throughout the day leaving room for Him to speak back to you. As you keep your mind on your dearest friend and protector, you will have the results you seek in each area of your life. May the Lord, our God, grant you abundant and overflowing peace in each area of your life.

Climb Out of the Manhole and Into God's Presence
Matthew 12:13-14 Then He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and it was restored as whole as the other. Then the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.
There is a call coming out from God for His people to enter and remain in His presence. Psalm 16:11 says,
You show me the path of life. In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Being in the presence of God is the way to life, both in this world and in the one to come. In the presence of God we will find not just joy, but the full measure of joy, which includes but is not limited to,
The presence of God is an awesome place for each of us to dwell. It is the place that we enter by His Spirit, through Christ and where we can constantly commune with Him; the place that He invites us to come and dine with Him every moment of every day. It is a place where we will see beyond what can be seen with the natural eye; the place where we can gain the understanding of life we have been seeking. God wants His people to know and understand Him. That is one of the benefits of salvation. The mysteries of God's Kingdom are mysteries to the world but revealed to His people who will then show the wisdom of God to the principalities and powers of this world (Ephesians 3:9-11).
This is what Jesus did in Matthew 12. The people were caught up in legalism, the law, their roles, timing, who was in charge, who had a "right" to minister or speak a word of life to someone else, what they felt was the right process and who the people chose to honor and exalt. But Jesus, walking in the presence of the Father, exhibited the wisdom of God in healing the man that was stricken, even on the Sabbath. Like the Pharisees, even though we believe, we can let our positions, our roles, our jobs or duties, our possessions, our differences and our attitudes cause us to lose focus on God's wisdom, which He seeks to manifest through us. We fall into these manholes of life, which like the real ones, hold us in dark and low places where it is hard to see the truth. And if you can't see the truth you will definitely have a hard time walking in it. But if we can lift up our eyes and not only read but receive the Word, which is living, we will be able to shift our focus away from darkness to what is most important. What's most important is our relationship with God. And as we humble ourselves and pray, repenting of our sins, He will forgive us without bringing them up again. Then as we seek Him through prayer and the Word with all our heart, and delight ourselves in Him and not the cares of this world, we will find ourselves in His presence.
To remain in His presence we set our hearts first on Him, next on Him and forever on Him. The more of His presence we experience, the more permanent our heart's desire for Him will become. As Paul expressed in Philippians 3:1-11, all the position, education and honor he had in the world became as nothing in comparison to the loving and wonderful relationship he found in Jesus Christ. It may be a press at first to focus on being in God's presence. But with an attitude of humility and thankfulness, make yourself pray, make yourself spend time in the Word and worship so that the Holy Spirit can join in. As you continue in this, you will quickly get to the place where you can't live without doing it and being in God's presence will become as necessary as breathing. Let us all climb out of our manholes of distraction and wrap ourselves in the presence of our God for this is the path of true life.
